Subject: RE: Rug & hardwood floors
I done some more research on the one the fellow said he could get us for 500.00 and found out it was a lesser quality.  So the one at the Area Rugs store is the better quality one.  In talking with the fellow at Area Rug he is willing to bring his price down to 799.00 plus tax.  He said the name of the rug is "Stance Collection #14".  It is 8 x 11  gold in center, red border with bulrushes on the corners.

We still have the tiles to be replaced in the kitchen (Wendy got us approximately 7 tiles).  We would like to see these done before they start work on the hardwood hallways.  We don't want anymore damage done to the new hallways.

Could you also please schedule the adjustment behind the fridge waterline issue prior to the tiles and hardwood.  He was in on Friday, but there was already 3 service people here in the way, so we told him he would be rescheduled for another day.

Thanks Romona.

Good morning Bill & Rose;

Can you tell me what store you saw the rug for ½ price. I will need to know the stock # or SKU # for it so that I can arrange to have it picked up. Please describe the colours in the rug and ithe name of  the pattern.

I will schedule Barrie Carpet to go in and prepare a quote to do the repairs to the hardwood hallways. We will have to remove & replace the trim & schedule painters to paint the new trim. This will be scheduled over a couple of days. I will advise you when this will be scheduled.

Regards,

Subject: Zurkans - Regarding Hardwood Floors

We were into the Area Rug Store (quite impressive) and did find one rug that would suit us, the cost of the rug alone without runners was $970.00 before taxes. We did find an identical rug in another store for half that price.

BUT.......

We feel that the amount of damage in all hallways going from both ends is too much to ignore.  What we would like to see is the hallway going from both ends redone and then we would let the damage in the dining room and living room go if you made compensation that was suitable for both of us.  We would also like the trim redone by the same person who originally installed it.  That was one of the few professional jobs we saw in the condo.

Awaiting your reply.
