Hi
Karen,
]
There is a washable filter in your
furnace that you can remove and clean as often as you like. The furnaces are not
run during construction and the heat vents are not located on the floor, by
doing this construction debris does not fall into the vents. We do not provide
duct cleaning, if there seems to be more dust than usual, there are
several local companies you can call and arrange to have your ducts
cleaned.
This is not a warrantable service
issue so I would not be taking any action in regards to
this.
Regards,
Ramona

Hi
Romona
I learned
from other occupants of the building that the reason for the excessive dust in
my unit is likely that the furnace needs to be cleaned. Since it was in its
current condition when we took possession of the unit, would it not be Pratt's
responsibility at this time, to clean it. It appears to be mostly drywall dust
that I'm having a problem with. Your attention to this matter would be
appreciated.
